Evidence of a robust creative activity agenda in composition which is validated by national colleagues or through a publication record

Demonstrated success and training in aural skills, theory and composition pedagogy

Evidence of leadership in curriculum innovation for theory and composition (preferred)

You will have the opportunity to:

Teach courses in music theory and composition

Coordinate the work and curriculum of the music theory area

Serve as the advisor for all music composition majors

Participate in departmental activities and committee work

Cultivate working relationships with area, regional and national public school teachers of AP Music Theory
