Position: Visiting Assistant Professor (one year)

General Information:

Visiting Assistant Professor: nine-month, non-tenure track appointment beginning September 1, 2006.


Master's degree and ABD or equivalent in Music Theory; successful university teaching experience at the graduate assistant level or higher; keyboard proficiency.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and masters level music theory. Courses taught may include freshman and sophomore theory, aural skills, upper level analysis, and counterpoint.

One of six schools in the College of Fine Arts, the School of Music is a significant part of the vibrant cultural life of the Ohio University campus.
