Assistant Professor, full-time, tenure track. Appointment effective August 2012.

Qualifications:

Doctorate in music theory; research activity that will qualify for graduate faculty status; teaching experience.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

•Teach music theory at the graduate and undergraduate levels
•Expertise in tonal theory and theory pedagogy is desirable
•Productive career as a research scholar
•Recruit, advise students
•Serve on graduate committees
•Other duties as assigned
