Position: Music Theory, full-time, tenure track appointment

Date of Appointment: August 2008

Qualifications:

doctorate required, or ABD’s considered. Applicants must have documented successful teaching experience. Secondary area may include composition and/or an applied area, preferably low strings. Experience with music technology required.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

teach any level of music theory and aural skills, plus related specialized theory courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teach in area(s) commensurate with the department needs and the candidate’s qualifications to complete full load.
