Position: Visiting Assistant Professor of Music

General Information:

Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music anticipates a 9‐month full‐time one-year position in music theory, and invites interested persons to apply. The appointment would commence in August 2010 for the 2010‐2011 academic year.

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Music Theory with teaching experience preferable; ABD considered.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach core undergraduate courses in music theory and aural skills.

Salary Range: Salary to be determined, and would reflect current adjunct faculty rates.
