General Information:

The Department of Music at Columbia University seeks to hire an Assistant Professor with a specialization in Music Theory. The responsibilities of the position include undergraduate and graduate teaching; research and publication; and departmental service. We especially seek candidates whose research extends interdisciplinary connections between Music Theory and Historical Musicology, Ethnomusicology, or Composition. Applicants must have earned the PhD by July 1, 2011.
