Position: Academic Staff Lecturer in Music Theory and Aural Skills

Terms of Appointment: Academic Year 2011-12

Qualifications:

Masters in Music Theory and/or Composition, minimum. Evidence of successful teaching experience in music theory and/or aural skills at the undergraduate level expected.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach music theory and aural skills in the music major core curriculum. Teach music theory for non-music majors. Other assignments may include form and analysis, instrumentation, and composition. Part-time appointment, however full-time appointment possible with additional teaching responsibilities based on candidate’s strengths and Department needs.
