Position: Tenure-track position in Music Theory, senior (rank commensurate with experience and qualifications)

General Information:

The Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Music Theory to begin fall of 2013: one junior (Assistant Professor), one senior (rank commensurate with experience and qualifications).

Qualifications:

Candidates will be evaluated according to the strength of their research and teaching, and should be able to teach at all levels of the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. Expertise in contemporary music and/or the history of music theory are preferred and a completed Ph.D. is required.
