Position: Faculty Fellow in Music Theory (Sabbatical Replacement)

General Information:

One academic year sabbatical replacement position beginning September, 2014.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or ABD in music theory and documented success in undergraduate teaching required.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching four courses: two courses in a four-semester music theory sequence for music majors and minors, and two electives in the candidate's area(s) of expertise. Candidates with expertise and teaching experience in performance-focused world music or music and cinema (either film composition or film music studies) are especially encouraged to apply. Effective date of employment is Fall 2014.

Salary Range: 63k+
