Qualifications:

Required: Earned doctorate in Music Composition/Theory.
Evidence of successful college-level teaching.
Demonstrated success as a composer.
Preferred: Experience with online teaching.
Ability to coordinate Music Business program.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate music theory, sight singing/ear training, analysis and composition; teach online graduate analysis. Coordinate composition and music theory programs including administration of music theory placement exams (undergraduate/graduate) and advise composition majors. Serve as Coordinator of the New Music Festival.
