Position: Visiting Assistant Professor of Music, Music Theory

One year, non-tenure-track

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree required. Equivalent professional experience considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate preferred; ABD considered. Previous teaching experience in higher education preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with research specialty in contemporary music.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach first-year theory, instrumental/vocal arranging, form and analysis, a graduate seminar, and other duties as assigned.
