Position: Assistant Professor of Composition

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in music composition
Demonstrated record as a composer at the national level
Ability to teach successfully at the collegiate level

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach courses in composition, orchestration, music theory and related disciplines; direct MM and DMA composition theses and dissertations; work cooperatively on graduate and faculty committees; participate actively in the cultural and intellectual life of the School and University; maintain a record of creative productivity that indicates continuing growth of national and international visibility.

The successful candidate for the position must be eligible to work in the U.S. prior to the start of the position.

(20%) maintain a record of creative productivity that indicates continuing growth of national and international visibility.
