Position: Assistant Professor

DePauw University http://www.depauw.edu/music/, a nationally ranked liberal arts college with one of the first Schools of Music in the country, invites applications for a tenure-track position in the teaching of undergraduate music theory, aural skills, composition, and other courses based on interest and need beginning August 2016.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. A completed doctorate in music theory and/or composition and evidence of scholarly activity (as composer or theorist) are required. A commitment to undergraduate teaching in a forward thinking and innovative context is essential; experience teaching first- and second-year music theory/aural skills and composition is preferred.

Salary Range: Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
