Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Music Theory

Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. in music theory from a regionally accredited institution or university.

2. College-level teaching experience and potential for successful scholarship as evidenced by publications and/or
conference presentations.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach courses in the undergraduate and graduate music theory/ear-training curricula.

Maintain an active agenda of research and publication in the field of music theory.

Participate in activities related to the academic mission of the university, including committee service, curriculum development, and administration of exams.
