Position: Senior Instructor of Music Theory

General Information:

This is a temporary faculty position for the 2017-18 year. The start date is August 14, 2017.

Qualifications:

Master of Music is required. Experience as a teacher at the collegiate level and ABD or terminal degree preferred.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

The University of Northern Colorado is searching for an innovative pedagogue to serve as a Senior Instructor of Music Theory for the 2017-2018 academic year beginning August 14, 2017. The successful candidate will serve undergraduate theory students as a creative educator, with an emphasis in music theory and aural skills instruction. A collaborative spirit is expected and additional duties may be possible based on the strengths and interests of the candidate and needs of the School of Music.

Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits available include health, dental, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement programs. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employ
