SMTD Music Theory Department LEO I; one year, 50% appointment September 2018 - April 2019

Qualifications:

PhD in Music Theory preferred; a completed doctorate in another field with a record of successful undergraduate teaching of harmony, voice leading, and tonal analysis considered.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach Music Theory 149 (Basic Musicianship: Writing Skills, I) and Music Theory 249 (Basic Musicianship: Writing Skills III) in the Fall 2018 term, continuing to Music Theory 150 (Basic Musicianship: Writing Skills II) and Music Theory 250 (Basic Musicianship: Writing Skills IV) in the Winter 2019 term.
