Institution: University of Texas at Austin

Position: Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Theory (one-year)

Qualifications:

PhD by May 2020. We seek candidates whose areas of research and teaching expertise complement those of existing faculty. They should demonstrate a strong record of or potential for research, evidence of successful teaching at the college level, and familiarity with current trends in undergraduate theory pedagogy.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Undergraduate and graduate instruction (2 courses per semester). The successful candidate will be expected to show potential for success at a tier 1 research university.

Salary Range: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
